Let's get after it...

We are Navattic fanatics.
We had the idea for this newsletter after hundreds of hours spent building Navattic demos for our past companies and current clients. We love making remarkable interactive demos, and want to share helpful tips and examples so you can too.
A huge thanks to Navattic for helping make this a reality. If you want to create a better experience for your buyers, go check them out.

Tip #1 - Make Sure They Actually See Your Demo
I keep seeing the same problem everywhere. Companies build solid demos then bury them in some dropdown menu where nobody finds them.
Instawork took a different approach, one that we will recommend to clients.
They wait till you've been on the site for 10 seconds, then hit you with a popup offering a 2-minute tour.
The timing is what makes it work. Ten seconds is just right β you've had a moment to see what you're dealing with, and youβre likely looking for something to catch your eye.
I like how they put that "2-minute" qualifier right up front. Tells you exactly what you're committing to.
Word of advice from DemoDash: STOP HIDING YOUR BEST ASSETS.

Tip #2 - Add This Step to Your Checklist
A lot of our clients ask us how to increase demo conversions. If you want to try something new, take a look at what OFX is doing.
They've got these progress checklists in their demo. Standard stuff, right?
WRONG!
The trick here is they added "Book a Demo" as an actual checklist item. Makes the whole thing feel like you're completing a process rather than going in a circle of demos.
To me, it's a psychological thing. People like checking boxes and making progress. With this in mind, OFX turned their CTA into another satisfying box to check.
This is the kind of detail most companies miss. Heck, we didnβt think of it until we saw it.
But now weβll be suggesting it to all of our clients.

Tip #3 - One Entry Point for Multiple Journeys
Sometimes the smallest design details have the biggest impact on your demo.
Mudflap made their tooltips and modals significantly more effective by simply bolding the first line and making it H3 instead of standard text size.
It's one of those "why isn't everyone doing this?" moves. The bold H3 creates a visual hierarchy that:
- Draws attention to the key point first
- Makes scanning content easier
- Gives each card more substance
We've been testing this approach with a few clients, and it consistently improves how people engage with the content. People actually read the explanations instead of clicking through blindly.

Show buyers EXACTLY what they want to see, with Interest Demos π€©
"Choose your own adventure" gets thrown around a lot β but it's now actually possible with Navattic's launch of Interest Demos.
You can finally give buyers a personalized demo experience, tailored to the features, use cases, and value props they actually care about.
Here's how it works:
- Create different "interests" in Navattic (like a sort of tag)
- Attach those interests to flows in your demo
- Add checkboxes to the first step in your demo where visitors can select what topics they're interested in β
- They'll then only be presented those flows!
It'll look something like this π
