Tip #1 - Demos Aren't Just for Prospects
Cloudflare is doing something none of us ever think about. They built a demo specifically for their partner program.
They tucked one right inside their "Agency Program - Getting Started" section. Genius move, honestly.
Instead of making partners slog through boring documentation about how the program works, they're like "here, just play around with it."
This gets the DemoDash approval because:
- Partners actually get excited instead of falling asleep in a PDF
- Onboarding becomes something they want to do, not something they have to do
- It shows you give a damn about partner experience too
Jason and I are in agreement on thisβ¦demos can live ANYWHERE. Remember when Kore snuck demos into their help docs back in Edition #16? Same vibe, just a different crowd.

Tip #2 - Use Psychology on Your Forms
Okay folks, get ready for this. Genetec Security Center just pulled off some next-level psychology with their demo form.
Most of us are like "HALT! Fill out this form to proceed!" But this demo welcomes you first, then casually goes "let's get you signed in."
It's such a simple word swap, but suddenly your brain thinks you're logging into an app instead of surrendering your email to the lead gen machine.
The magic is:
- Your brain thinks "app login" not "sales form"
- You're getting access to something cool, not paying a toll
Genetec fills their CRM with the data it needs, but now you feel like the cool kid getting into the VIP section instead of filling out paperwork.
This reminds me of Nicholas Wealth Management from Edition #5 where they also made sharing your info feel like a privilege, not a punishment.

Tip #3 - Make Your Welcome Screen Feelβ¦Welcoming
The welcome screen is a lot like the hero on a homepage. If you nail it, then your prospect is more likely to finish the demo.
Enter CaptivateIQ.
They hit you with "It's time to rethink ROI," but immediately clarify they mean "return on incentives." Then they're like "give us 3 minutes and we'll show you how to deliver better results."
Itβs a great welcome screen because:
- That headline creates some drama with a reason to chuckle
- Three minutes feels totally reasonable and sets expectations
- They promise you'll walk away with something useful
Most welcome screens are like "Hey, here's our thing." This one's more like "Hey, get on over here and let us help you out."
ββ Enjoy the warm welcomeβ

Show buyers EXACTLY what they want to see, with Interest Demos π€©
"Choose your own adventure" gets thrown around a lot β but it's now actually possible with Navattic's launch of Interest Demos.
You can finally give buyers a personalized demo experience, tailored to the features, use cases, and value props they actually care about.
Just like this example from Packfiles!β
Here's how it works:
- Create different "interests" in Navattic (like a sort of tag)
- Attach those interests to flows in your demo
- Add checkboxes to the first step in your demo where visitors can select what topics they're interested in β
- They'll then only be presented those flows!
It'll look something like this π
