Tip #1 - Don’t Bury Your Demos
It’s wild how many companies play hide-and-seek with interactive demos. They’re often stuck in the middle of a page, past long paragraphs, or hidden behind multiple clicks.
So I’m happy to say, Unitus AI is doing it right. Their tour lives above the fold — front and center. Why? Because that’s the best way to convert a prospect's curiosity (and short attention span) into a live demo.
Everyone knows that when a prospect lands on your page, you only have a few seconds to grab their attention. Why not put your demo in their line of sight?
Our advice: Don’t make them scroll to find the thing you want them to buy.
→ See how they added it to their homepage
Tip #2 - Not All Tours End in “Book a Demo”
The CTA we all know and love still works, but it can be a little aggressive. That’s why we loved Gameball’s approach.
They flipped the script and asked the prospect: “Can we send you more resources?”
This subtle shift changes the dynamic. Instead of a pushy ask, it’s an offer to help.
Even better, we think Gameball uses this as a way to nurture leads. First they send tailored resources that naturally lead prospects toward more value. Then, the sales team gets to work with warmer leads.
We have to respect Gameball’s CTA switch because, well… game recognizes game.
→ Check out their tour and see how it’s done
#3 - Add a Moment of Delight
First impressions are everything, and Kickup nails it. When you start the demo, their logo (an orange running man) comes alive as a playful GIF.
It’s such a small touch, but it brings a huge smile.
Adding moments of delight to your demo isn’t hard, yet most people still go with the bare minimum.
These little details make prospects want to stick around and take your demos over and over again.
